History

Compañía Vitivinícola Tandem was founded in January 2003 by Alicia Eyaralar, José María Fraile and a small group of family and friends that share a love of wine.

In 2001 we started to search for the perfect area to locate our winery and vineyards whilst working on the design of the winery together with our architects. Company philosophy and commercial strategies also took shape.

During this time we were lucky enough to meet Pedro Jesús Lizarraga our viticulturist partner that helped form part of our company name: vitivinícola.

Tandem means, in Latin, "at last" and represents the ambition that the two founding partners have always had to realise our dream and mission.
